Chef Joan Brennan has been tickling the palates of Londoners since 1989 (and before that, Torontonians since1978). Her late and lamented Strange Angels Restaurant is remembered as a cutting edge place where customer comfort was paramount. Strange Angels not only provided alternatives, the philosophy was "If we've got it, you can have it!" Which meant clients could enjoy unlimited substitutions on the menu items, or even invent their own! Allergies and food preferences were respected and catered to. And the food was top notch.
